Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Srujan Prakashan! We are committed to delivering your books promptly and in excellent condition. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and timelines related to the shipping and delivery of your orders.

  1. Shipping Locations

We currently ship books across India. We do not ship international yet.

  1. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on:

  • Delivery location (city/state)
  • Weight and quantity of the books
  • Shipping method selected

(Note: Shipping is free now but in future it may charge)

Shipping charges (if applicable) will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

  1. Order Processing Time
  • Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days after payment confirmation.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
  • During high-volume periods (festivals, sales, etc.), processing may take slightly longer.
  1. Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery times depend on your location:

  • Metro cities: 3–6 business days
  • Other regions: 5–9 business days
  • Remote or rural areas: Up to 12 business days

Please note that these are estimated timelines and may vary due to courier availability, weather conditions, or unforeseen delays.

  1. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email  with your tracking details. You can use this information to track the status of your delivery in real time.

  1. Delivery Attempts

Our delivery partners will attempt delivery up to 2 times. If no one is available to receive the package, it will be returned to us. You may be required to pay additional shipping charges to have it re-sent.

  1. Damaged or Lost Packages

If your package arrives damaged or appears to be tampered with:

  • Do not accept the delivery.
  • Take photos of the damaged package.

If your order is lost in transit, we will investigate with the courier partner and issue a replacement as appropriate.

  1. Delivery Delays

We strive to deliver your books within the estimated time. However, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control such as:

  • Courier service delays
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions or lockdowns

We will do our best to keep you informed and updated in case of any such delays.
